A new collaboration between DraftKings and the Lac de Flambeau Band of Lake Superior Chippewa Indians has been revealed. DraftKings will open for business on August 28 at the Lake of the Torches Resort Casino in Wisconsin, pending regulatory approval of the agreement.
DraftKings’ VP of Retail Sportsbooks, Michael Kibort, shared insights into the collaboration. He highlighted the positive relationship between DraftKings and the Tribe, saying, “DraftKings has established a great relationship with the Lac du Flambeau Band of Lake Superior Chippewa Indians, and we can’t wait to bring the DraftKings sportsbook brand to Wisconsin.”
The new sportsbook will feature an over-the-counter window located on the casino floor and six DraftKings sportsbook kiosks. This setup aims to provide a streamlined betting experience for guests at Lake of the Torches Resort Casino.
Bill Guelcher, CEO of Lake of the Torches Resort Casino, expressed enthusiasm for the new addition. “Lake of the Torches is excited to add retail sports betting to our property as a new gaming amenity for our valued guests to enjoy,” he said.
