DraftKings’ official betting partner for major events including the famous Travers, the Belmont Stakes Racing Festival, and Saratoga Race Course is to be replaced by the company under this sponsorship agreement.
Taking place on August 24, in the middle of the event’s run from July 11 to September 2, the DraftKings Travers will be the centerpiece of the 2024 summer meet at Saratoga Race Course.
DraftKings’ advance deposit wagering offering, DK Horse, will enjoy significant prominence during the 2024 Belmont Stakes Racing Festival. Moreover, it will be the presenting sponsor of the DK Horse Acorn.
As part of the collaboration, DraftKings and DK Horse logos will adorn the Saratoga property starting from June, signifying a visual testament to the partnership’s scope and impact.
Christopher Cipolla, General Manager of Horse Racing at DraftKings, expressed delight over the ongoing collaboration, affirming DraftKings’ dedication to the sport. Tony Allevato, the Chief Revenue Officer of NYRA, praised DraftKings as a notable brand in the emerging sports betting market. It was important to him to stress that this partnership would bring elite racing to a wider audience. Looking ahead to an exciting year at the Saratoga Race Course, Allevato thanked DraftKings for its support.
