Betway Extends German Sportsbook Licence

Betway, a prominent worldwide online betting and gaming company, announced today that the Regional Council of Darmstadt has extended its sportsbook licence.

Betway will continue to provide its best-in-class offering to German consumers in a regulated gaming market with responsible gambling measures in place to guarantee customers wager in a safe and secure environment.

In Germany, the Super Group-owned brand is a notable sponsor of high-profile sports. In German football, they have an outstanding portfolio that includes 2022 Europa League champion Eintracht Frankfurt, as well as VfB Stuttgart, Hertha Berlin, Werder Bremen, and Schalke 04.

The company is also a prominent sponsor of tennis in Germany, serving as the Official Betting Partner at the Boss Open, Terra Wortmann Open, and Hamburg Open, three of the country’s four ATP tournaments.

Betway has also committed to the German market by establishing a presence in Düsseldorf, Germany. Better localisation of their sportsbook offering, simpler access to people, and job creation in Germany are among the ambitions for future expansion.
