NFL Renews DraftKings and FanDuel Deals and Adds Fanatics for 2026 Season

Share

The NFL has locked in DraftKings, FanDuel and Fanatics Betting and Gaming as sports betting partners under new multiyear agreements ahead of the 2026 season.

The lineup replaces the previous three operator group of Caesars, DraftKings and FanDuel. Unlike the 2021 agreements, the latest contracts do not give the partners category exclusivity, leaving room for the NFL to add other sportsbook operators later.

Good to Know

  • DraftKings and FanDuel have worked with the NFL in sports betting since 2021.
  • Fanatics joins the sportsbook group and becomes an official online casino marketing partner.
  • Americans were expected to legally wager $30 billion during the 2025 NFL season.

Fanatics Joins New NFL Sportsbook Lineup

Fanatics now adds sports betting to an NFL relationship already covering official merchandise and collectibles.

All three sportsbook partners can use NFL branding across retail and online betting. They also gain placement across NFL digital properties and major events including the Super Bowl and NFL Draft.

DraftKings keeps its role as the official daily fantasy sports partner, while Fanatics adds online casino marketing rights. Caesars is no longer included, and the NFL has not publicly explained its departure from the sportsbook group.

The deals also restore multiyear certainty for DraftKings and FanDuel after their earlier agreements expired following the 2025 season.

Official Data Remains Central to NFL Betting Deals

Genius Sports will supply DraftKings, FanDuel and Fanatics with official real time play by play data, Next Gen Stats and BetVision.

Genius holds exclusive NFL data distribution rights through the end of the 2027 to 2028 season and supplies official NFL data across more than 98% of the regulated US sports betting market.

Data access carries particular value during football season. The American Gaming Association estimated legal wagering on the 2025 NFL season at $30 billion, up 8.5% from a revised $27.6 billion estimate for the previous season.

Integrity requirements form another part of the commercial agreements. The NFL and its partners restrict betting markets involving officiating, injuries, information known in advance and events that one person could easily manipulate.

“DraftKings, FanDuel and Fanatics share our vision for innovation and fan engagement, but most importantly, our commitment to protecting the integrity of the game. We look forward to navigating this next chapter in sports betting together,” NFL EVP and Chief Revenue Officer Renie Anderson said.

The NFL also requires gambling policy education for players and maintains integrity monitoring around betting activity.

Prediction markets remain outside the sportsbook partnership structure. The NFL has raised concerns about sports event contracts offered by platforms including Kalshi and Polymarket, particularly markets involving events that can be manipulated or known before public disclosure. In March, the league asked prediction market operators to avoid contracts covering areas including injuries, officiating, draft selections and other easily influenced outcomes.
