bet365 has launched bet365 Fantasy Sports in the United States and Canada ahead of the 2026 FIFA World Cup. The free-to-play mobile game was built with LOW6 and is available to users aged 18 and over, excluding Washington state.

Good to Know

  • bet365 Fantasy Sports mixes fantasy lineups with collectible card pack gameplay.
  • Users build World Cup squads with a $100 million budget, rising to $105 million for the knockout rounds.
  • bet365 also has a free World Cup Tournament Challenge with leaderboard prizes.

World Cup Gives bet365 A Fantasy Sports Entry Point

bet365 is using the 2026 World Cup to bring a new fantasy sports product to North America. The launch adds another free-to-play layer around soccer at a time when operators want more fan activity before, during, and after matches.

The game lets users create fantasy lineups from real players and score points from live match performance. Goals, tackles, conceded goals, penalty saves, and other match events all affect results. Each squad needs two goalkeepers, five defenders, five midfielders, and three forwards.

Trip Stoddard, Head of Business Development at bet365, said:

“We’re thrilled to introduce the launch of the bet365 Fantasy Sports app across North America ahead of the World Cup, a tournament deeply valued by our fanbase. Fantasy creates a fresh way for users to engage with the sports they love.”

The collectible angle gives bet365 Fantasy Sports a lighter mobile-game feel. Users can open card packs and spend in-game coins on a training feature to improve player stats. LOW6 said the product gives bet365 a player-versus-player mobile experience built around the full tournament window.

Josh Turk, Chief Strategy Officer at LOW6, said bet365 has built “one of the world’s most trusted sports betting platforms” and that the new game helps extend fan engagement into interactive mobile entertainment.

The launch also lands as bet365 grows its US base. The operator now has sportsbook access across 17 US states, while fantasy games can work as a lower-friction product in markets where full sports betting rules differ by state.

Free Games Keep Fans Active Between Matches

bet365 is also running the free-to-play World Cup Tournament Challenge. The format works like a bracket-style predictor, with users picking group stage and knockout outcomes and using Daily Doubles to add points for correct picks.

The US version includes individual matchday prizes and an overall leaderboard prize, with the top prize listed at $50,000.
