Greg Solano, Co-Founder of Yuga Labs, has shared exciting updates on the Bored Ape Yacht Club (BAYC). As part of a “10-day check-in,” Solano discussed new projects and addressed past issues. He resumed his CEO role in February 2024 and expressed optimism about the future, unveiling several initiatives to engage the NFT community.
One major project is ‘Project Dragon,’ a high-energy action game featuring large-scale team battles. This game leverages the ‘ODK’ platform, which enhances 3D game creation and monetization. Solano also plans to integrate creative “brand expressions” within the BAYC’s Otherside metaverse to enrich the virtual experience.
ApeFest, a highlight event, will undergo significant improvements. The next ApeFest will feature impressive merchandise drops and anti-frustration measures for a smoother attendee experience.
Solano announced enhancements to Dookey Dash, a popular game in the BAYC ecosystem. The updated version will be simpler and offer a $1 million prize to attract more players. This aligns with Yuga Labs’ goal to make their platforms more accessible and enjoyable.
Solano also emphasized the importance of the Clubhouse, a virtual space for Bored Ape and Mutant Ape collectors. The company aims to enhance user engagement and satisfaction through this exclusive environment.
