BPMG Adds Web3 Features To Existing Games

Share

BPMG plans to bring web3 features into its current game portfolio instead of building new blockchain games from zero. The company wants to use existing player bases, known game brands, and familiar gameplay as the starting point.

Good to Know

  • BPMG will add web3 layers to existing games rather than launch new blockchain-first titles.
  • Cooking Adventure and Tales Runner already have large player communities.
  • POPLUS and the GHUB token will support rewards, transactions, and player activity.

Existing Games Come First In BPMG Web3 Plan

BPMG is taking a lower-friction route into blockchain gaming. Rather than ask players to join a new game, learn a fresh economy, and build another community, the company plans to add web3 features to titles that already work.

Cooking Adventure and Tales Runner sit at the center of that plan. Both games have reached millions of users, giving BPMG a ready audience for blockchain rewards and digital engagement tools.

That choice also avoids one of the hardest parts of web3 gaming: cold starts. Many blockchain games struggle because they must build gameplay, liquidity, token use, and community trust all at once. BPMG is trying to separate those problems by keeping familiar game loops in place first.

POPLUS will handle much of the new reward layer. Players will be able to earn benefits from game activity, content creation, and community participation. GHUB will serve as the main utility token for in-game rewards and related transactions.

The company also wants the blockchain layer to stay in the background as much as possible. That part is important because many regular players do not want wallets, tokens, and chains to interrupt a game they already enjoy.

BPMG is also using a multi-chain setup with networks such as Base and LayerZero. That can help with onboarding and cross-chain use, while giving the company more room to connect game assets and reward systems across different blockchain environments.

The hard part will be balance. BPMG needs to add web3 value without making Cooking Adventure, Tales Runner, or other titles feel like crypto products first. A smooth rollout could give other game studios a clear model for moving established web2 games into web3 without forcing players through a full reset.
