Already, the path to the 2025 Fortnite Global Championship is beginning to take form. We now know some of the best athletes who will compete for honors in this year’s grand finale after FNCS Major 1 concluded. Elite Fortnite players from all over the world will compete in the competition, which is expected to be an exciting international confrontation.
The FNCS, Fortnite’s top esports competition, takes place during each season. The Global Championship is the ultimate test, with the top players from each area competing in a single, intense LAN event. In contrast, FNCS events are geographically oriented.
The competition will take place in Lyon-Décines, France, from September 6–7 this year. With potential meta adjustments, there will be an element of surprise as the event is most likely to take place during Fortnite Chapter 6 Season 4. Six matches will be played each day, and points will be given for placing and eliminations. The team with the greatest score at the conclusion of the competition will win the championship.
Although the tournament is months away, several top competitors have already secured their spots through FNCS Major 1. Here are the first confirmed names:
Major 1 guaranteed these players’ spots, but there are still two Majors left, thus additional elite players will be eligible in the upcoming months.
