Pristina to Host European Esports Championship 2025 in July

The European Esports Championship 2025 will take place in Pristina, Kosovo, from July 9–13, according to an official confirmation from the International Esports Federation (IESF). 180 top esports players from all across Europe will compete in some of the most well-known video games at this eagerly awaited tournament.

The tournament lineup includes:

  • Counter-Strike 2 – Top 16 teams
  • Counter-Strike 2 Women’s Division – Top 8 teams
  • Dota 2 – Top 12 teams

Players will compete for national pride and a chance to shine on one of the biggest esports stages in Europe.

Path to the Championship

Before reaching Pristina, teams must go through an intense online qualification stage from May 16 to June 1. Only the best performers will secure their place at the main event, where they will compete in front of an energetic live audience.

IESF’s Esports Manager, Igor Nedeski, expressed excitement about the event, stating, “We are excited to bring the European Esports Championship to Pristina, a city with an emerging esports scene and a strong community of gamers. This event will showcase the incredible talent of European players and reinforce the growing significance of esports in the region.”
