Sutherland’s impact on the gaming supplier industry has grown as he nears his 25th anniversary with Konami Gaming, during which he has held the positions of president and CEO seven times. The Jens Halle Memorial Award was established in 2015 to honor the late Jens Halle, a revered figure in the gaming sector. Sutherland is the ninth recipient of this award, which acknowledges individuals who have made a lasting impact on the industry. His recognition during the G2E event highlights not only his personal achievements but also the broader contributions of gaming professionals committed to advancing the sector.
