Splinterlands Introduces Survival Mode for Strategic Gameplay

Share

Survival option, a game option that requires players to properly manage their decks throughout several bouts, has been released in Splinterlands. This endurance-based mode, in contrast to conventional formats, stops defeated cards from being used again until the season resets or their cooldown period expires. To perform at their best during the season, players must plan how they use their cards.

By providing SPS (Splintershards) incentives, this novel structure encourages sustained effort rather than short-term successes. Consistent gamers will eventually earn more thanks to the SPS reward pool’s progressive refilling. Survival Mode differs from other battle types, though, in that Glint prizes are only available in the Modern and Wild formats.

To enhance the player experience, a new custom deck feature lets participants create a separate deck for Survival Mode. This prevents them from unintentionally using their main decks reserved for other game formats.

Updated Leaderboard and Long-Term Incentives

Splinterlands has also redesigned its leaderboard system with the addition of Survival Mode. Glint prizes are now given to the top 100 players, increasing the level of incentive and competition.

The update also highlights sustained participation in the Hive ecosystem. Greater incentives are available to players that increase their Hive Power (HP) balance. Individuals who regularly take profits out without reinvesting them can lose out on special rewards.

Splinterlands becomes more strategic and community-driven in Survival Mode. The game rewards loyal players while bolstering its economy by promoting stamina, deft deck management, and sustained engagement. The way that blockchain gaming communities interact with competitive play may change as this new mode takes traction.
