By becoming the Presenting Sponsor of the Rocket League Championship Series (RLCS) 2025, Progressive Insurance has deepened its partnership with BLAST. Progressive’s successful participation in the Rocket League World Championship in Fort Worth, Texas, last year serves as the foundation for this action.
The Rocket League World Championship, RLCS Majors, and Qualifiers will all be covered by the increased funding. Fans may anticipate seeing Progressive’s branding widely displayed both digitally and physically across broadcasts and stadia. Along with other in-game integrations, the insurer’s branding will also show up on the Rocket League ball during RLCS broadcasts.
Known as the second-largest personal auto insurer in the U.S., Progressive has broadened its presence in esports to engage with a younger, digitally-savvy audience. Additionally, the company offers insurance for commercial vehicles, motorcycles, boats, and is among the top 15 homeowners insurance carriers in the country.
Alexander Lewin, BLAST’s SVP of Commercial Revenues, expressed enthusiasm about the expanded partnership. He noted, “The expansion of our sponsorship with Progressive highlights the growing global reach of Rocket League Esports, along with its brilliant passionate fanbase and the exciting arena events on offer across the year.”
Meanwhile, Sean Freeman, Media Business Leader at Progressive, emphasized the value of connecting with the esports community. He said, “We’re excited to help bring a fun and competitive Rocket League Championship Series season to the Esports community in 2025. We look forward to connecting with the passionate fans of Rocket League both in-game and in the arena all season long through this expanded sponsorship.”
The RLCS 2025 season promises thrilling competition, with standout events like the RLCS Major in Birmingham, UK, and the Raleigh Majors in the U.S. The season will culminate in the Rocket League World Championship in Lyon, France. Last year’s championship saw Team BDS claim the title and a significant share of the $1.16 million prize pool.
With Progressive’s continued investment and BLAST’s dynamic production, the RLCS 2025 season is set to deliver an even greater esports experience for fans worldwide.
