Play AI, a Las Vegas-based firm, has successfully collected $4.3 million in early money with the goal of revolutionizing the gaming sector. With this investment, which values the business at $70 million, the development of AI middleware targeted at improving gaming content will be aided. For developers, the platform claims to offer cutting-edge tools and superior data.
Since its founding just six months ago, Play AI has drawn interest from a number of important investors, including Tykhe Block, P2 Ventures, Jump Crypto, Alphawave, Zentry, and MH Ventures. For three months, the business worked covertly before revealing its novel strategy. PS Ramees, CEO of Play AI, claims AI will influence how games are played in the future. He explains, “Artificial intelligence is the future of gaming and virtual worlds, but the cost and complexity of development has long been a major roadblock to adoption.”
Play AI leverages blockchain technology to create a decentralized network for AI model training, ensuring transparency and fairness. This network also provides a new monetization stream for players. The platform encourages users to share their gameplay data, which in turn helps train AI models. These models are then made available on the Gaming Agent Marketplace, allowing developers to seamlessly integrate AI features into their games.
Currently, developers face limitations with centralized systems for accessing data and AI models. Play AI aims to eliminate these hurdles by offering a decentralized platform that enables immersive, real-time gaming experiences. The platform is composed of three key components: Play Markets, Play Dojo, and Play Hub. Play Markets aggregates and validates gameplay data, Play Dojo serves as a sandbox for training AI agents, and Play Hub provides an SDK for integrating these agents into games.
The infrastructure of Play AI is secured as an actively validated service on the Eigen Layer. This validation ensures the network’s integrity and the reliability of its AI agents. The company has already launched the Play Collective platform, inviting users to share their gameplay data and earn rewards.
PS Ramees, with a background in creating VR experiences for brands like Adidas and Walmart, envisions a future where AI-powered experiences dominate the gaming world. He emphasizes that by making AI deployment “incentivized, simple, and secure,” Play AI is paving the way for a new era in gaming.
