My Pet Hooligan Launches V1 Marketplace for $KARRAT NFT Trades

AMGI Studios has launched the first version of its web3 marketplace for My Pet Hooligan, a free-to-play PvP game. This new platform introduces a native space for trading Hooligans and Zuckbot NFTs using the in-game $KARRAT token, offering a direct alternative to previous ETH-based transactions.

The V1 marketplace allows players to buy, sell, and trade NFTs from the Hooligans and Zuckbot collections with no fees or royalties. Users can connect their wallets containing $KARRAT tokens on the Ethereum network to make purchases, browse listings, and sort NFTs by properties. For those interested in bulk buys, a shopping cart feature simplifies the process.

Currently, the marketplace emphasizes seamless transactions, setting a foundation for more advanced features like price analysis, metadata viewing, and improved filtering in future updates. The team plans to expand the platform’s offerings, making it a broader web3 hub for players and collectors. Upcoming features include time-gated drops, exclusive cosmetic items, and unlockable benefits for active users.

Future Enhancements and User-Centric Updates

AMGI Studios aims to build on this initial release with several planned updates to enhance user experience. Future features include activity history for tracking bids and sales, trait viewing to assess NFT rarity, and price filters for targeted searches. The introduction of offers, bidding, and detailed market trend charts will help players make informed decisions.

To attract a wider audience, the marketplace will integrate card payment options, making it easier for web2 gamers to buy on-chain assets without needing crypto. Additionally, subscription services and a rental system will offer new ways for players to engage with NFTs, either by subscribing to specific perks or renting assets temporarily.

Another significant improvement on the horizon is gas fee abstraction, aiming to simplify blockchain interactions by eliminating the need to hold multiple tokens for transactions. AMGI Studios hinted at leveraging advanced Layer 2 or Layer 3 Ethereum solutions to achieve this.

One of the more mysterious features teased is “StreetKred,” marked as “REDACTED” in the announcement. The in-game currency, used for upgrades, could see integration into the marketplace, providing another way for players to use their earned rewards.
