Skrice Studios has revealed ambitious plans for Heroes of Mavia, aiming to expand the game’s ecosystem with new features, a detailed roadmap, and the launch of GameLink, a Digital Asset Exchange Platform (DAEP). The studio also plans to introduce six flagship games under this interconnected system, creating a broader Web3 gaming experience.
GameLink is designed to support multiple Web3 gaming projects by enabling seamless trading of NFTs, in-game currencies, and tokens across various blockchain games. The platform will replace the current Mavia Marketplace & Exchange (MPEX), with the transition expected to occur alongside the beta launch of GameLink in April 2025.
The studio has selected a few blockchain games to participate in the initial launch, and additional projects will be considered over time. Players will use Ruby 2.0, a newly upgraded in-game currency, to trade across multiple games. Ruby 1.0 will automatically convert to Ruby 2.0 at a 10:1 ratio. This update is expected to bring broader utility and improved liquidity to the ecosystem.
Skrice Studios is also finalizing a new roadmap for Heroes of Mavia, outlining planned gameplay improvements and future content. The studio aims to optimize features to enhance player experience, retention, and scalability. The roadmap will align with the transition to GameLink, ensuring that the new ecosystem integrates smoothly with the game.
A reorganization of the Mavia core team is also underway to improve development efficiency and meet community expectations. Skrice Studios believes that restructuring will enhance collaboration and streamline future releases.
The beta version of GameLink DAEP is set for April 25, 2025, with a test phase lasting several months before the full launch in December 2025. Alongside the release, Skrice Studios will introduce six flagship games, including an optimized version of Heroes of Mavia’s mobile game. The studio has yet to disclose details about the other five games but has stated they are being developed by AAA teams.
The GameLink launch is expected to boost the value of NFTs and Ruby tokens by expanding their use beyond Heroes of Mavia. The integration of multiple blockchain games under one system could create a sustainable gaming economy with broader player engagement.
Skrice Studios has committed to keeping players updated with regular announcements on the progress of GameLink, the Heroes of Mavia roadmap, and the transition from MPEX to the new platform.
