The upcoming beta release of Animalia introduces over 100 new NFT cards, enriching the strategic play-to-earn experience. Players can anticipate NFT Card Packs, a quest system for added challenge, and the debut of an AI Bot for unranked gameplay. Additionally, the introduction of a “Friends vs. Foe Mode” hints at intriguing multiplayer dynamics, complemented by revamped card descriptions and an Action History Bar to enhance tactical decision-making.

What Is Animalia?

Animalia sets itself apart as a free-to-play trading card game immersed in a realm of crypto-inspired meme creatures, divided into the bullish Bulls and the bearish Bears factions. Operating on the Ethereum network and transitioning to Arbitrum, players assemble decks of NFT cards featuring meme-inspired art. The game offers diverse modes including unranked and ranked PvP, as well as a compelling PvE campaign where players embark on a solo journey through six distinct landscapes of the Animalia Kingdom.

In PvP battles, players face off using Titans, each endowed with unique abilities that influence gameplay strategies. Gemstones, elemental cards, empower Titans and Critters—primary unit cards used for offense. Alongside Critters are single-use Spells and versatile Weapon cards, augmenting strategic depth in gameplay.

Animalia employs a duel-token system with $ANIM and Phylum ($PHL). $ANIM serves as the governance token, facilitating ecosystem management and offering exclusive in-game benefits. On the other hand, $PHL, yet to launch, acts as an uncapped utility token earnable through PvE and PvP matches, tournaments, and quests. Holding Titan NFTs enhances earning potential by granting Stamina and token multipliers.
