With the release of Cosmic Royale, a party royale kart racer created for PC as a part of Animoca Brands’ Motorverse ecosystem, Eden Games, known for games like Test Drive Unlimited and Gear.Club, has announced its entry into the web3 gaming space.
In Cosmic Royale, players are sent to the exciting Cosmic Tournament, where forty opponents compete in competitive multiplayer races and obstacle courses. The game is supposed to be a fully immersive experience where one champion will ultimately win.
In its beta phase, Cosmic Royale offers exclusive access to Mocaverse’s Moca ID holders, rewarding high-performing players with Realm Points (RP). These RP can be staked and multiplied on the Mocaverse platform, eventually converting into MOCA tokens. While owning a Mocaverse PFP (Profile Picture) is optional, using it as an in-game driver adds a personal touch to the gaming journey.
David Nadal, Eden Games’ creative director, expressed enthusiasm about Cosmic Royale’s release, stating, “We’re thrilled to unveil Cosmic Royale and invite players to join the Cosmic Tournament for thrilling rewards.” He emphasized the game’s innovation, allowing players to import custom drivers and karts from diverse PFP collections, ensuring each racer’s journey is unique.
The full launch of Cosmic Royale is slated for Q4 2024 and will be exclusively available on the Epic Games Store. Players can anticipate an exhilarating web3 gaming experience, embracing competitive challenges and personalized gameplay in Cosmic Royale.
