Thegamehers Cup, a CS2 wildcard event, is co-hosted by thegamehers, a women-focused community gaming site, and Thunderpick, a well-known online esports betting platform.
Four teams compete in the *gamehers Cup: FlyQuest Red, Shimmer, Karma, and Limitless Angels. There are two semifinal matches and one final in the single-elimination format. $5,000 is the overall prize money, with $3,500 going to the winning team and $1,500 going to the runner-up.
The tournament will be live-streamed on Twitch and held at MomoCon 2024 on May 26 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. ET. A live viewing party with the*gamehers community streamers will accompany the event.
This collaboration aims to promote and support femme-led esports organizations, providing them with a platform to compete and qualify for the Thunderpick World Championship North America qualifier.
