Netflix has raised prices across its streaming lineup again, lifting costs for the ad tier, Standard plan, and Premium plan. The updated rates went live for new members on March 26, while existing subscribers will see the changes later.
Good to Know
Netflix did not roll out a new product with the increase. Instead, it quietly updated plan pricing and extra member fees. The ad supported tier rose by $1, Standard without ads rose by $2, and Premium also rose by $2. Extra member pricing now sits at $7.99 for ad supported plans and $9.99 for ad free plans.
Android Authority first spotted the updated pricing. Netflix later said the changes reflect continued investment in its entertainment lineup and service quality. New members now see the updated rates right away, while current subscribers will move to the higher pricing over the next few months.
The company last raised prices in January 2025. Since then, Netflix has kept adding live content and new product features, while its investor materials have also pointed to pricing as part of revenue growth.
