SPORTPASS, which falls under the expansive umbrella of Animoca Brands — a global powerhouse in gamification with over 400 investments in Web3 projects — is set to elevate Euroleague Basketball’s appeal among the Gen Z audience. This partnership aims to blend the excitement of basketball with digital innovation, offering fans a Euroleague-themed gaming platform filled with a variety of gaming experiences, rewards, and in-game collectibles.

In recent years, Euroleague Basketball has placed a strong emphasis on gamification as a key driver of its digital expansion. This strategy has paid off, with the league’s fantasy games portfolio witnessing a substantial year-on-year growth in 2023 and successfully engaging a community of 4.3 million fans.
