An intriguing new competition called PCI LATAM has been announced by Singapore-based esports producer 81Ravens. It will feature top teams from Latin America. The fast-paced 3v3 shooter game Paravox will be the focal point of this competition, bringing players from different areas to compete for supremacy. The competition will begin on November 17 with an Open Qualifier that will include competitors from LATAM, Southeast Asia, and Japan.
The competition will move on to the online Playoffs, which are set for November 23 and 24, after the Open Qualifier. The top two qualifying teams move on to the championship tournament, where they will play against LATAM teams who have been invited. On December 21 and 22, in Tokyo, Japan, the Japan Global Tournament will host this thrilling matchup.
81Ravens previously hosted the Paravox Global Rapid Tournament (PGRT), which drew participation from 23 esports teams and attracted over 500,000 viewers. This successful event sets a strong precedent for PCI LATAM and highlights the growing interest in competitive gaming within the region.
Paravox, a dynamic 3v3 arena shooter, is currently available in open alpha on the Epic Games Store and Steam platforms. Players can engage with the game by purchasing tradable character skins in the in-game marketplace using OAS or PVX tokens.
To add more excitement to the tournament, 81Ravens will introduce exclusive team collaboration skins for prominent invited teams, including LOUD, MIBR, w7m esports, and RED Canids Kalunga. These unique skins will enhance the visual identity of each team during the tournament.
For those interested in competing, the selection process will evaluate players based on their weapon preferences, win rates, and overall performance. This data will not only determine eligibility but also assist professional esports teams in scouting potential new talent.
With the PCI LATAM tournament, 81Ravens is set to elevate the competitive landscape for Paravox, offering thrilling opportunities for both players and fans alike.
