An enormous sum of money will be spent on reviving one of Vegas’ historic landmarks with this ambitious $20 million property-wide extension.

Led by McCarthy Building Companies, Ike Gaming, Jive Architecture, and Kenneth Ussenko Design, the project aims to expand the casino floor by 10,000 square feet while renovating an additional 4,000 square feet. The introduction of a new high-limit lounge seeks to provide patrons with a secluded space away from the bustling casino floor, enhancing their gaming experience.
As part of the expansion, two new bars, including a roulette bar and a show bar, are set to grace the premises, offering guests a variety of entertainment options. Christopher Knotz, Partner at Jive Architecture, expressed his team’s honor in contributing to El Cortez’s bright future, recognizing its storied legacy in Las Vegas.

The property’s recent $30 million restoration, which included a makeover of the casino floor restrooms, Tower Premium rooms, and 47 original rooms, comes after this expansion. El Cortez’s commitment to offering its guests unmatched service and facilities is demonstrated by the ongoing investment.
