Flutter To Leave London Stock Exchange As FanDuel Keeps NYSE At The Center

Share

Flutter Entertainment will drop its London Stock Exchange listing on Aug. 3, 2026, leaving the FanDuel parent with New York as its sole stock exchange home. Reuters reported that Flutter shares will trade in London for the final time on July 31.

Good to know

  • Flutter will keep its New York Stock Exchange listing under FLUT.
  • FanDuel growth in U.S. sports betting helped drive the earlier New York pivot.
  • Flutter also owns Betfair, PokerStars, Sky Betting & Gaming, Sportsbet, Sisal, and Paddy Power.

FanDuel Growth Keeps Flutter Focused On New York

Flutter no longer sees enough value in keeping a secondary London listing. The group said its board reviewed trading volume, listing costs, and U.K. regulatory duties before deciding that London no longer worked in the best interests of the company or shareholders.

New York already became the main venue for Flutter stock in 2024, after shareholders backed the plan and the company shifted its primary listing to the NYSE. London stayed in place as a secondary listing at that point, but the balance kept tilting toward the U.S.

FanDuel sits at the center of that logic. U.S. sports betting and online gaming now drive a major part of Flutter growth plans, while institutional trading in Flutter shares has concentrated in New York. Reuters reported that the U.S. made up 42% of Flutter revenue, while FanDuel held a 39% share of the U.S. online sports betting market.

Flutter had already left the Irish Stock Exchange before its New York listing started. Now London goes as well.

London Loses Another Gambling Stock Listing

The decision adds another name to the list of companies choosing deeper U.S. capital markets over London. For gambling investors, the change also makes Flutter easier to read as a U.S.-led online betting stock rather than a European-listed operator with a growing American arm.

The company carries a market value of around $19 billion. Alongside FanDuel, Flutter runs a wide betting and gaming portfolio that includes Betfair, PokerStars, Sky Betting & Gaming, Sportsbet, Sisal, and Paddy Power.
