Sweepstakes gaming platform ZOOT has secured $6 million in seed funding to expand beyond the U.S. market and bring stablecoin-driven entertainment to a global audience. The use of stablecoins allows the platform to offer instant, zero-fee payouts—a key upgrade for global players who often face high costs and slow processing. According to ZOOT co-founder and CEO Sean Ryan, “With stablecoins eliminating traditional payment friction, we can serve players globally with zero fees and instant payouts.” Backed by industry experience and blockchain investors ZOOT was founded by John Cahill and Sean Ryan, both long-time veterans in gaming. Cahill has worked with Sega, Yahoo Games, and Shockwave. Ryan previously led Facebook's gaming division and co-founded OpenWager, which was acquired by VGW in 2017. The new investment round, led by CoinFund, a crypto-native investment firm with a portfolio of more than 100 blockchain companies, positions ZOOT to tap into fast-growing stablecoin usage. David Pakman of CoinFund said, “Sean is one of the most thoughtful and experienced entrepreneurs in gaming, and we believe he and his team will be one of the largest winners in this market.” Building on early success ZOOT has already launched in the U.S. with sweepstakes games and now plans to release new titles while improving its blockchain infrastructure. One of its leading products is a modern take on Plinko, reimagined through a Beer Pong-style experience with high-quality graphics and sound. The team is working to bring a more interactive, transparent, and rewarding experience to real-money gaming.
