By collaborating with AI platform NRN Agents, Sky Mavis has made a big stride toward improving its game ecosystem. NRN’s AI agents, created by ArenaX Labs, will be included into Ronin in Q1 2025, signaling a significant change toward AI-powered gaming.
Proof-of-concept tests in a few Ronin games will introduce the integration and highlight how NRN’s AI agents may improve the gameplay experience. These agents can be used in a variety of game genres because they are made for dynamic, multiplayer situations. The collaboration intends to eventually spread “millions of AI gaming agents” over Ronin’s expanding game network.
Kathleen Osgood, Sky Mavis’ Director of Business Development, shared her excitement about the partnership, stating on X, “Ronin will be the home to AI X Gaming X Memes… Gaming ecosystem will be on a new level via AI integrations and experiments.”
ArenaX’s flagship game, AI Arena, will play a key role in the collaboration by offering the Ronin community an opportunity to participate in training NRN’s AI agents. In addition, Q2 2025 will see the release of NRN’s Software Development Kit (SDK), which will be made available to Ronin studios. This will coincide with the network’s shift to a permissionless model, further broadening the accessibility of AI-powered tools for game developers on Ronin.
In a related development, Ronin has also launched Tama Meme, its first fair launch token launchpad. Developed by the Web3 native Moku, Tama Meme went live on January 21st, and within its first week, over 7,000 tokens were launched. The launchpad generated nearly $25 million in trades, with 69,000 token holders engaging in the ecosystem. This move further solidifies Ronin’s push to integrate memes into its gaming and Web3 strategies, alongside AI advancements.
