The next twelfth annual Gaming in Holland Conference is set to address the major concerns affecting the Netherlands’ regulated gambling business. The conference comes at a key time for the Dutch gaming business, with the long-awaited prohibition on untargeted advertising of online gambling services set to take effect on July 1. The ban, which includes broadcast, print, and outdoor advertising, is expected to have a severe impact on online gambling providers and affiliates targeting the Netherlands. Recently published guidelines offer further light on the new advertising rules. Furthermore, the Dutch government has expressed interest in privatizing Nederlandse Loterij, the country’s largest state-owned gambling business, as well as imposing stricter deposit limitations.
The Gaming in Holland Conference will feature well-known speakers from the Dutch gambling business.
