Flutter Announces Changes to its Board of Directors

Flutter Entertainment has announced changes to its Board of Directors, informing that Michael Cawley has stepped down as Non-Executive Director of Flutter and Chair of the Audit Committee and Zillah Byng-Thorne has stepped down as Chair of the Risk and Sustainability Committee.

The changes have become effective upon the conclusion of the company’s annual general meeting (AGM), held on last Thursday. Zillah Byng-Thorne will continue as Non-Executive Director of the company.

With effect from 28 April 2022, Holly Keller Koeppel has been appointed as Chair of Flutter’s Audit Committee and David Lazzarato has been appointed as Chair of Flutter’s Risk and Sustainability Committee.

In addition, with effect from 1 July 2022, Carolan Lennon will be appointed as a Non-Executive Director. Carolan is a Non-Executive Director and Senior Independent Director of AIB Group plc. She will take up the role of Country Leader of Salesforce Ireland on 1 July 2022. Prior to this, she was the CEO of eir, a leading Irish telecoms provider, for four years up to January 2022. Prior to the CEO role, she held a variety of senior executive roles in eir, including Chief Commerical Officer. Prior to joining eir, she held a number of senior roles in Vodafone Ireland, including Consumer Director and Marketing Director.
