SCOR on Sweet just launched Flappy Racquet, a tennis-themed mini-game that puts a fun arcade spin on Wimbledon season. The new title is part of Sweet’s growing Web3 mini-app collection and is already available across Telegram, web, and mobile.
Good to know
The game draws inspiration from the viral classic Flappy Bird but brings tennis into the mix with animated avatars of pro players like Nick Kyrgios, Naomi Osaka, Aryna Sabalenka, and more. Each playable avatar offers different in-game perks, giving users unique gameplay advantages and a better shot at climbing the leaderboards.
Flappy Racquet drops right as Wimbledon kicks off, making the launch even more timely. Players can level up by collecting Gems and using them to power up their favorite tennis stars. Soon, those Gems may be swappable for $SCOR, Sweet’s platform token that unlocks real-world rewards like signed match gear and access to exclusive events.
Thanks to Sweet’s partnership with Winners Alliance, top tennis athletes are featured in the game, including recent Wimbledon champions Marketa Vondrousova and Barbora Krejcikova, as well as global stars like Tommy Paul, Jasmine Paolini, Alexander Bublik, and Zhizhen Zhang.
Sweet CEO Tom Mizzone sees this as more than just a game. “This is what SCOR on Sweet is all about – taking the sports we love and turning them into rewarding, competitive, and addictingly fun mini-games,” he said. “With Flappy Racquet, we’re combining nostalgia, elite athlete IP, and real-world rewards into a single experience.”
Winners Alliance VP of Games Manny Redruello echoed that sentiment, saying the platform is designed to support both fans and players. “Our mission has always been to put athletes first, and this partnership with Sweet helps us deliver new value to tennis players and fans alike. SCOR is more than a game – it’s a platform that celebrates the individual talents of the best tennis players in the world.”
Users can redeem their $SCOR tokens for a variety of rewards in the SCOR on Sweet marketplace, including signed items, in-game upgrades, and even video chats with featured athletes.
