SuperGaming, one of India’s most recognized game studios, has wrapped up a $15 million Series B funding round, bringing its total capital raised to $20 million. The fresh investment will drive its push into blockchain-powered gaming, global market growth, and the launch of its own GameChain network.
Good to know
At the center of SuperGaming’s next phase is the SUP Foundation, which will lead its transition into Web3 gaming. This includes integrating blockchain features into existing and future titles, enabling players to truly own in-game assets and participate in blockchain-based game economies.
The company’s GameChain network, built with infrastructure provider B3, will power these efforts. Designed as a Layer-3 blockchain specifically for gaming, it promises seamless onboarding and asset interoperability across multiple games. The first major community event, the Lotus Vault NFT mint, is scheduled for mid-August, with a full rollout of GameChain planned for Q4 2025.
SuperGaming has already reached over 200 million lifetime players through popular titles like MaskGun, Indus Battle Royale, Silly Royale, Tower Conquest, and Battle Stars. Connecting GameChain to these existing hits could introduce blockchain features to millions instantly.
One example of the studio’s blockchain integration is Silly Royale, which already runs on its proprietary blockchain setup, proving its commitment to secure asset ownership and cross-platform gaming economies.
The new funding will also accelerate SuperGaming’s entry into emerging global markets. The Indo-Futuristic Indus Battle Royale will lead the charge, debuting in Latin America through a partnership with Brazilian esports organization Loud.GG. This collaboration aims to attract mobile-first gamers and build a competitive esports ecosystem around the title. Expansion into the Middle East is also on the roadmap.
India’s gaming industry, projected to hit $9.2 billion by 2029, is being fueled by affordable data, rising mobile usage, and easy access to digital payments. SuperGaming’s focus on Web3, player-driven economies, and asset ownership is well-positioned to benefit from this growth wave.
All of SuperGaming’s games, whether Web2 or Web3, are supported by its in-house SuperPlatform, built with Google Cloud. The platform provides multiplayer infrastructure, analytics, monetization tools, and social features—particularly valuable for developers in emerging markets seeking scalable tech solutions.
Founded in 2017 and headquartered between Pune, India, and Singapore, SuperGaming now employs over 120 people. With the latest funding, its next year will center on launching new blockchain-powered products, enhancing its technology stack, and deepening its global footprint.
