idea-L is rethinking how startup ideas get validated—by turning it into a game. The AI-powered platform has launched idea-L® Tinder, a swipe-based startup pitch game hosted directly on Discord. Players can now submit ideas, judge others, and compete for rewards, all inside a gamified format that aims to make entrepreneurship fun and accessible.
Good to know
Players start by submitting a startup idea, which is quickly scored and turned into a collectible card complete with visuals and ranking. These idea cards then enter a community pool. Next, players act as judges, swiping through 20 random ideas in each session and deciding which to “fund” or skip. Their choices affect their score, with points awarded based on alignment with the platform’s AI scoring.
The competition includes seasonal leaderboards. The top 100 players earn GOVToken, which is used to vote on real startup funding decisions through idea-L’s on-chain governance platform. The top five players receive larger portions of the token pool. One standout idea per season could also be selected for real investment from idea-L’s internal team.
According to COO Daniel Muller, the game is more than just entertainment. “The game is like a flight simulator for startup judgment. It trains players to quickly identify real opportunities,” he said. Every swipe is tracked and evaluated, while social sharing turns audience engagement into extra points.
Launching on Discord was a strategic decision. With its large Gen Z user base and digital-native communities, Discord provides a familiar and social space where players can jump in without any downloads. It fits naturally with idea-L’s goal to make startup development accessible and engaging.
idea-L® Tinder ties directly into the company’s broader mission. The team is building a complete Idea Realisation Platform with tools for funding, validation, and decentralized governance. By making the process of testing and improving startup ideas more interactive, idea-L is opening the door for new founders to get involved—without needing VC connections or formal startup experience.
