BONK.fun is taking a new step to connect crypto with mainstream audiences. The Solana-based memecoin launchpad announced on September 2 that it has partnered with Kick, integrating livestreaming directly into its platform.
Good to know
Under the integration, memecoin creators can now go live on Kick while chatting with their BONK.fun audience in real time. The setup gives projects access to Kick’s mainstream reach while staying within the BONK.fun ecosystem.
The company described Kick as a natural fit:
“Kick has entered the streaming game as an underdog with innovative features and a creator-first focus a win and help win ethos that perfectly embodies what we stand for at BONKfun,” the platform said in a statement.
The move highlights BONK.fun’s strategy to make crypto launches more interactive and community-driven. By connecting with Kick’s audience—already a growing hub for crypto and gaming enthusiasts—the platform hopes to expand beyond the traditional crypto crowd.
Kick, launched in 2022 by the co-founders of Stake.com and Easygo Entertainment, has quickly positioned itself as a challenger to Twitch and YouTube. Its looser moderation policies, especially around gambling content, have attracted both creators and controversy.
BONK.fun isn’t the first memecoin platform to experiment with livestreaming. Pump.fun previously launched a similar feature but shut it down in late 2024 after some users engaged in dangerous stunts and hostile behavior. Pump.fun later reintroduced livestreaming in April 2025 under stricter moderation rules.
