Rumble announced a new advertising commitment with Tether valued at $100 million over two years, beginning in 2026. The arrangement builds on earlier cooperation between the two companies and supports both platform development and creator monetization.
Good to Know
The agreement follows Tether’s earlier $150 million GPU services commitment that supported Rumble in its exchange offer for Northern Data AG. The acquisition of Northern Data would add a distributed computing network with thousands of Nvidia GPUs across Europe and the United States, expanding Rumble Cloud and supporting a global infrastructure base for AI workloads.
Chris Pavlovski, chairman and chief executive of Rumble, said:
“Tether’s commitment to our Freedom-First video platform proves that Rumble and the creators who have stood unwaveringly for free speech are the foundation for the future of advertising and creator monetization.”
The advertising plan integrates Rumble Wallet, which is designed to facilitate payments in USDT, XAUT and bitcoin. The feature aims to provide content creators with more direct monetization options and allow audiences to interact financially without intermediaries. The companies describe the initiative as a step toward privacy-oriented advertising models and transparent engagement metrics.
Under the broader strategy, Tether will act as an anchor customer for GPU services after the Northern Data acquisition closes. Pavlovski has described the long-term objective as establishing “a self-sustaining AI ecosystem rooted in privacy, independence, and resilience.”
The collaboration between the two companies has grown steadily. In February 2025, Tether committed $775 million toward development of Rumble Wallet and a Freedom-First platform framework. Both firms continue to promote a position centered around decentralization, user autonomy and alternative cloud infrastructure to counter large centralized providers dominating AI and content distribution.
The agreement totals $100 million across two years starting in 2026.
Rumble Wallet enables transactions and creator monetization using USDT, XAUT and bitcoin.
Northern Data provides GPU and high-performance computing infrastructure that will expand Rumble Cloud after acquisition is complete.
Tether intends to utilize GPU capacity from Rumble Cloud to support decentralized AI workloads.
