Bloomberg reported on Tuesday that leading Bitcoin exchange FTX has purchased an advertisement slot for the upcoming Super Bowl LVI that will be held on February 13, 2022, at SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, California. FTX did not reveal how much it put down for the ad or what it will look like.

Founder and CEO, Sam Bankman-Fried said:

“We’re inviting everyone to check it out, and here to help them on their journey. There is no bigger, more mainstream event to share a message like that than the Super Bowl. Our message throughout this year has been that crypto is safe, accessible, and ready for the mainstream.”

The Super Bowl is one of the largest sporting events being broadcasted and has a global audience. Last year’s Super Bowl attracted just over 96 million viewers. FTX will surely get a bang for their buck this year with all eyes on the NFL finals and the customized Super Bowl advertisements that people tune in for.

FTX cannot be missed by the eyes of sports fanatics and seems to have covered all bases. The exchange went all-in on sports advertising this year, signing deals with the Major League Baseball, the Miami Heat, Formula 1 Racing Team Mercedes (Lewis Hamilton) and starring seven-time super bowl champion Tom Brady in their new commercial.
