Brave Wallet to Add Cardano Blockchain Access and Token Tools

Brave Software and Input Output (IO) have announced a new partnership that will integrate the Cardano blockchain into the Brave Wallet. The move is designed to expand multi-chain access while strengthening user privacy and participation in decentralized networks—all directly from Brave’s built-in wallet.

The partnership allows Brave Wallet users to access the Cardano blockchain for a range of tasks, including managing native assets, executing swaps, and taking part in on-chain governance. Native tokens like NIGHT will be supported in this update, with swap functions enabled between Cardano and other assets.

Users will be able to perform these actions securely and privately, without leaving the browser.

Brave CEO and co-founder Brendan Eich said the collaboration fits with the company’s broader goals:

Aligning around privacy and control

For Cardano, the collaboration opens the door to broader adoption within a browser-native environment. Input Output CEO Charles Hoskinson welcomed the partnership:

The integration will add Cardano to a growing list of networks supported by Brave Wallet, which already includes Ethereum and Solana. It reflects a wider push among Web3 tools to unify access across multiple ecosystems while keeping user control and privacy intact.
