The much-awaited VCT Ascension Pacific 2025 officially kicked off yesterday in Bangkok, bringing together the best VALORANT teams from across Asia-Pacific for a 12-day battle. The tournament just kicked off yesterday, October 14 and will run until the 26th at the Imperial Samrong Convention Hall, where ten teams will compete for two spots in the VCT Pacific League 2026 and a total prize pool of USD 100,000.

The VCT Ascension Pacific event represents the last step before teams enter Riot Games’ premier VALORANT ecosystem for 2026. With intense group stages followed by a high-stakes playoff bracket, every round counts toward earning one of the two coveted spots in next year’s VCT Pacific League.

Each team brings its own regional flavor and playstyle, creating one of the most diverse competitive environments in VALORANT’s APAC circuit.
The action starts with two groups of five teams each, seeded according to their regional performance. Both VCT Pacific representatives are placed in separate groups to balance the draw. Group matches will follow a single round-robin format, with all games played as best-of-three.
From there, the top six squads advance to the playoffs. The upper bracket features the top two teams from each group, while the third-placed teams enter the lower bracket. All playoff rounds will be best-of-three, except for the upper and lower bracket finals, which expand to best-of-five matches. These finals will determine which two teams earn entry into the VCT Pacific League 2026.

The excitement peaks in the final three days, when fans can watch the best teams in action live at the Imperial Samrong Convention Hall. Located at 999 Sukhumvit Rd, Samrong Nuea, Samut Prakan District, the venue will host the closing stages from October 24 to 26.
