Team Vitality has added another title to their already stacked collection, winning the 2025 Intel Extreme Masters in Dallas with a flawless performance. The tournament took place at the Kay Bailey Hutchison Convention Centre and ended with a 3-0 sweep over MOUZ in the Grand Final.
Good to know
Mathieu “ZywOo” Herbaut was once again at the center of Vitality’s charge. After finishing second last year, the team returned to Dallas focused and relentless. The Grand Final against MOUZ saw ZywOo deliver clutch plays, supported by teammates apEX, flameZ, mezii, and ropz.
Their IEM Dallas campaign began strong with a 2-0 sweep over Legacy in Group A. From there, they shut down GamerLegion in the Upper Bracket Semifinal with another clean 2-0 win. The next challenge came against The MongolZ. The match went to a third map, where flameZ led a decisive performance on Mirage to secure a narrow 13-11 win and a place in the Playoffs Semis.
In a semi-final rematch against Team Falcons, Vitality took Dust II 13-7, dropped Train 13-6, then closed things out on Inferno 13-11. The victory sent them to the Grand Final stage with momentum clearly on their side.
Against MOUZ, Vitality fell behind 8-11 on Dust II but stormed back to win 13-11. They maintained pressure on Mirage, winning 13-9, then sealed the title on Inferno with a 13-8 finish.
This marks Vitality’s sixth Counter-Strike title of 2025. Their current form, combined with flawless team coordination, has made them the top team in the global CS2 scene. The win in Dallas also positions them well in the race for the ESL Grand Slam. If they continue on this path, they could become the first club ever to win back-to-back Grand Slams.
Team President Fabien Devide praised the squad, saying: “I’m extremely proud of our CS team for securing yet another major title with this IEM Dallas victory. Team Vitality continues to showcase the strength and excellence of French esports organisations on the global stage, and we have no intention of slowing down anytime soon.”
Vitality will now head to the BLAST Austin Major in June, followed by IEM Cologne in July—both key tournaments where they will look to extend their winning run.
