Pac-Man Mega Tunnel Battle was released only on Stadia in 2020, and it seems to disappear along with Google’s gaming platform. On the other hand, the classic Pac-Man is returning. The multiplayer version of the popular arcade game, renamed Pac-Man Mega Tunnel Battle: Chomp Champs, is scheduled to launch on Steam in May.
A total of 64 connected mazes with an equal number of Pac-Mans are included throughout the gameplay environment in Pac-Man Mega Tunnel Battle. These characters explore the interconnected mazes by passing through the tunnels that usually loop back to the opposite side. Players can eat other players’ Pac-Mans until they are the only one left standing by using power-ups.
Players may freeze opponents, increase their speed, and momentarily defend themselves from injury thanks to the power-ups that are included in the game. while in a battle royale, players must enter each other’s domains to obtain food while mazes progressively disappear from the outside. In addition, Pac-Man Mega Tunnel Battle will allow gamers to personalize their Pac-Man avatars with hilarious extras like caps and spectacles.
The Steam release date for Pac-Man Mega Tunnel Battle: Chomp Champs is set for May 8. Thanks to cross-platform multiplayer connectivity, users may compete fiercely against pals on the Switch, PlayStation, and Xbox, among other platforms.
