Spielworks, a prominent web3 gaming ecosystem encompassing Wombat, NFT marketplace AtomicHub, and social app Wasder, has made a significant move by acquiring Chainmonsters, a cross-platform web3 monster-taming MMORPG. This acquisition aims to revitalize and expedite the development of Chainmonsters, positioning Spielworks at the forefront of web3 game publishing.
By acquiring Chainmonsters, Spielworks initiates its foray into web3 game publishing, strategically enhancing the potential of upcoming web3 games.
Chainmonsters, known for its ambitious gameplay and boasting over 200,000 users, will undergo a highly anticipated relaunch under Spielworks’ stewardship. The objective is to elevate the game into a premier web3 gaming experience.
“With Chainmonsters, we’re building value – not just for our own ecosystem, but for web3 gaming overall,” affirmed Adrian Krion, CEO and Co-founder of Spielworks.
Under Spielworks’ umbrella, Chainmonsters will integrate seamlessly with the ecosystem’s expansive user base of over 7 million across iOS, Android, and desktop platforms. This integration will introduce enhanced social features, reward mechanisms, asset distribution capabilities, and interactions with the $WOMBAT and $WAS tokens.
“With the support of Spielworks, we can now push everything we’ve built into overdrive, enabling opportunities for players both old and new that wouldn’t have been possible by ourselves,” remarked Maximilian Weber, Game Director at Chainmonsters.
