Sorare has rolled out a new referral system for Stellar Nights, adding a fresh growth tool to the free to play side of Sorare 26. Instead of rewarding simple signups, Sorare now ties payouts to how far invited players actually progress inside the set.
Good to Know
Sorare built the new system around engagement, not just acquisition. Players who invite friends into Stellar Nights can unlock Gold Wheel spins, Stellar Essence, Stellar Cards, and as much as 150 Gems, but only as those referrals keep playing and leveling up.
That gives the feature a different shape from older referral offers. Sorare is using player progress as the trigger, which fits better with free to play users who may never spend on cards at all.
Stellar Nights launched in late March 2026 as the active football set in Sorare Set mode. Sorare positioned it as a new layer inside the game, with as many as eight card variations and edition based scoring bonuses. Prize pools can reach $1,000 per set, and Stellar Nights also became the first Sorare Set to include a signed card.
Players can enter without paying, receive starter cards, and work through six progression tiers by building lineups and climbing leaderboards. Clubs from the Premier League are part of the set, which helps keep the format visible during the closing stretch of the European football season.
Stellar Essence sits at the center of that economy. Players use it to unlock cards and keep advancing inside the set. Gems work as a premium resource across the wider Sorare platform. Gold Wheel spins open the Sorare Wheel, where players can pull cards, Essence, and other in game items. Every 10 spins also unlocks a Golden Spin with better odds.
Sorare has used referrals before, but older versions leaned on buying activity. In the wider Sorare 26 season, new users who joined through a referral link and bought five cards from new card auctions could receive market credits. Stellar Nights takes a different route by rewarding play inside the set rather than a one time purchase step.
Sorare continues to run its blockchain fantasy sports platform across football, NBA, and MLB. Cards are issued as NFTs on Ethereum and come in four scarcity levels: Limited, Rare, Super Rare, and Unique. Across the platform, users build five player lineups based on real life performances and compete for cards, Essence, or cash depending on the game mode.
