SKALE Unveils $2M Indie Game Accelerator to Boost Blockchain Gaming

To assist independent developers and small studios in incorporating blockchain technology into their games, SKALE has launched a $2 million indie game accelerator. The program encourages Web2 creators to switch to Web3 games by offering financial support, technical help, and coaching.

The initiative accepts projects at any stage, regardless of whether creators choose to create a Web3 game from the ground up or add blockchain functionality to an already-existing game. Because funding is milestone-based, work will proceed steadily.

The accelerator provides a range of benefits, helping developers refine their projects and connect with potential investors. Key features include:

• Funding in SKL Tokens: Grants are distributed in SKL tokens, with payouts tied to project milestones.
• Investment Opportunities: Successful teams can pitch their projects to venture capitalists and angel investors in SKALE’s network.
• Expert Coaching and Pitch Sessions: Developers receive specialized guidance and get two chances to present their projects to potential backers.
• Technical and Marketing Assistance: SKALE provides architectural support for blockchain integration, token launch guidance, and promotional resources.

Jack O’Holleran, SKALE Labs’ co-founder and CEO, highlighted the company’s rapid expansion in blockchain gaming. He noted that SKALE now supports over 230,000 daily active wallets and has processed more than one billion transactions. Through this accelerator, SKALE aims to drive Web3 gaming adoption and attract fresh talent to its ecosystem.
