Gunzilla Games has officially launched Off The Grid on Steam, pushing the cyberpunk-themed battle royale shooter out of Early Access and into full release. The update brings crossplay support, a major gameplay patch, and fresh cosmetic rewards for players across all platforms.
Good to know
With the Steam launch, Off The Grid joins PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and the Epic Games Store in supporting full crossplay. Players can now face off across platforms, and a new cinematic trailer showcases the tension of PC versus console matchups.
Alongside the release, Gunzilla dropped a new patch that introduces gameplay tweaks, closes the Red, White and Boom event, and unlocks Battle Pass Sections 3 and 4. Section 3 adds the Drone Operator skin and Kite Buzzboy weapon, while Section 4 delivers the icy-themed Zero Chill cosmetic line, complete with matching gear and emotes.
Balance adjustments continue with changes to the Buzzkilla cyberlimb, which now fires in three-shot bursts and has updated health and damage stats. The Kite SMG gained new attachments, and various combat mechanics were polished to smooth out animations and shoulder-switch issues.
Bug fixes hit multiple areas of the game, especially UI problems in the lobby and interaction glitches on the Marshlands map. Gunzilla also removed climbing exploits and zipline bugs to create a cleaner gameplay experience.
On the blockchain side, Gunzilla extended support for its $GUN token to the Solana network. The move gives players broader access to skin and gear trading within the game’s economy. With over $666,000 in monthly volume reported, the token’s reach is growing even as prices fluctuate.
The $GUN-powered GUNZ mainnet now supports more than 21,000 players and over 17 million wallets. Tools like DEGENRADAR and OTG Meta let users track gear values and personalize their cyberlimbs. A new Cyberlancer limb was also introduced, offering dash attacks and bleeding effects for added combat depth.
While the Steam version is currently running on a testnet, full mainnet support is expected down the line. Gunzilla is planning further marketplace expansion, including OpenSea integration, and teased upcoming reveals through its HEX system. More details are expected later this month.
