The blockchain-based PvPvE sci-fi shooter MetalCore has opened its Closed Beta Phase 2.5, offering players access to a number of significant enhancements from May 1st to May 14th.
A new third-person viewpoint has been added to the most recent closed beta edition, offering players a another way to enjoy the game. This is one of its most notable features. The value of character customization and advancements is increased by this viewpoint, which lets players see their character in all of its glory. Players can obtain a tactical edge and make better strategic judgments than they would in first-person perspective by having a broader view of their surroundings.
The level cap has been raised from 25 to 35, offering players more progression opportunities. Additionally, players can now scan aircraft recipes of enemy AI to unlock blueprint crafting options. Faction pledging is now a crucial aspect of the game, requiring players to align themselves with one of the three factions, setting the stage for an impending crusade.
Closed Beta Phase 2.5 introduces a plethora of new daily challenges and adds a sliding ability mechanic. Furthermore, there’s now a 5-second global cooldown for consumables. In-game and social quests make a return, allowing players to earn Marks redeemable for $MCG in the upcoming TGE (Token Generation Event).
The reward structure has changed, as indicated by the patch notes, and NFTs are no longer offering extra daily challenges depending on rarity. Rather, regardless of NFT rarity, players earn an equal amount of rewards in Marks after finishing a single task. By streamlining the daily challenge completion procedure, this modification guarantees that players with several NFTs may advance quickly and get the same benefits for each NFT.
Prominent investors including BITKRAFT Ventures and Delphi Digital contributed $5 million to MetalCore in March 2024, demonstrating their significant support for the company’s ground-breaking game idea.
