Kintara Expands Beyond North America With New Servers In Europe And Asia

Share

Kintara has launched regional servers in Europe and Asia, ending a setup that routed every player through North America.

Good to Know

  • Kintara has about 20,540 monthly active players.
  • Players can carry inventory between regions, but separate servers use different worlds.
  • The team has banned more than 4,000 bot accounts.

Full Servers Drive Global Expansion

Capacity problems forced Kintara to rethink its network only weeks after the browser MMO launched on May 22.

Server 9 filled immediately on June 13, while every other active server had also reached capacity. Peak concurrent activity has since ranged from about 800 to 1,300 players.

“Server 9 just opened and it (along with every other server) instantly filled up 🤯 Our top priority right now is raising player limits across all servers while keeping scalability smooth,” the team said.

Europe and Asia now join North America as player options. Kintara said users “can choose the region nearest to them for lower ping and smoother adventures.”

Inventory follows a player between servers. However, friends selecting different regions will not share the same game world.

The rollout follows a June 19 backend migration designed to reduce lag and support higher traffic.

“Kintara servers have now been officially migrated. This new infrastructure gives us a much stronger foundation to support more players, reduce lag, improve responsiveness, and scale more smoothly as demand grows over the next few days,” the team said.

Kintara Economy Builds Around Active Play

Kintara has recorded about $450,000 in game transactions. Daily player marketplace activity stands near $54,000.

Players connect a Solana wallet and need 1,000 KINS to create a character. Mining, crafting, combat, quests, PvP and trading form the main gameplay loop.

The design resembles RuneScape more than automated play-to-earn games. Progress depends on direct input across skills such as woodcutting, mining and combat.

KINS works as both an in-game currency and governance token. Trading takes place on LBank, PumpSwap and Meteora. The KINS and USDT market on LBank has produced roughly $7.19 million in daily volume, while token market value reached $22.9 million on June 18.

Kintara has also acted against automated farming. More than 4,000 bot accounts have received bans after the team said they damaged marketplace balance.

Suspected accounts now face a human verification test. Failure to complete it within five minutes triggers a 24-hour ban.
