Craft World Moves to Ronin on July 25 with VOYA’s Player Economy Vision

VOYA Games is set to bring its fully onchain game Craft World to the Ronin blockchain on July 25, marking a major step in its plan to create a network of connected web3 games. After drawing over 240,000 wallets during its test run on Polygon, the game now moves to a new home built for long-term growth and community-driven gaming.

Craft World is a blockchain idle game where players collect, trade, and manage 25+ unique resources. Each resource is tied to its own ERC20 token, meaning every transaction lives fully onchain. Players guide dinosaur-like creatures called Dynomites as they rebuild a world after disaster.

What makes the game different is its economic design. The system is powered by Dyno Coin, a utility token with no supply cap. VOYA will not host a token sale—instead, Dyno Coin will be earned through gameplay and an upcoming web-based experience called Project Voyager, which launches June 11. Players complete quests and social actions to earn crystals that determine their Dyno Coin rewards. These mechanics will help transition users from testnet to mainnet while offering early incentives.

VOYA chose Ronin for more than just the tech. In their words, Ronin’s focus on “players, builders, and longevity over short-term trends” matched their approach to building games that offer lasting value. “Ronin’s focus on ecosystem quality and resilience stood out,” VOYA shared in the launch announcement.

The team behind Ronin, Sky Mavis, also welcomed the move. Co-founder Jeff Zirlin (Jihoz) noted how Craft World monetizes differently than most web3 games. “They’re best-in-class at monetizing through in-game ads rather than relying solely on purchases,” he said. “Craft World knows how to convert users and drive revenue.”

Fueling the project is a $5 million investment round completed in May. The raise was led by early-stage firms 1kx and Makers Fund, with support from big names like Sebastien Borget of The Sandbox and Jihoz from Sky Mavis. VOYA plans to use the funds to expand beyond Craft World, building an entire ecosystem of interoperable games where players own their identity, resources, and progress.

According to VOYA, starting with a crafting game made sense. It allowed them to introduce their vision for a player-owned economy, where items earned in one game can be carried into others. “We chose to start with a crafting game for a reason,” the team said. “It’s the genre best suited to showcase a player-owned economy in action.”

Project Voyager acts as the bridge between Craft World’s testnet and its July launch on Ronin. But VOYA has more in store. The company confirmed plans to release several new games on Ronin, all tied together by shared assets and gameplay mechanics.
