A new Web3 platform called Corners has entered The Sandbox ecosystem through an invite-only beta phase. The platform focuses on curation and enables participants to collect and organise internet content in a way that creates digital value.
Good to Know
Corners functions as a free-to-use platform where users collect URLs, conversations and online material into themed sets. Each curated set becomes a Corner Coin, a transferrable digital asset that can evolve as more content is added by the community. Anyone can contribute to a corner after creation, enabling continued growth of both the collection and its perceived value.
The platform broadens the direction of The Sandbox 3.0 roadmap, which is aimed at building a network that extends into culture, digital expression and community-driven participation. Corners reinforces that ambition by giving users a way to codify online content into assets that can be shared across Web3.
Robby Yung, CEO of The Sandbox, said:
“Corners is a great example of how partners can help extend the utility of the SAND token and support the continued evolution of The Sandbox ecosystem beyond gaming. By enabling curators to tokenize the content they love, Corners opens meaningful new opportunities for creativity and participation. We’re pleased to support products that build on our foundation and bring more communities into The Sandbox’s wider ecosystem.”
SAND serves as the primary utility token inside Corners. Curators can earn SAND for their activity, while Corner Coin holders receive rewards linked to platform usage. That design supports long-term token circulation and strengthens participation across The Sandbox ecosystem.
The SAND token is also expanding its reach through an initial liquidity pool on Aerodrome, deployed on Base. This transition gives users outside Ethereum and Polygon a smoother path into The Sandbox economy and simplifies token movement across multiple chains.
As Corners prepares for a broader 2026 launch, the project has released a detailed “How to build your corner” guide on its website. The material explains how to create Corner Coins, assess market pricing, manage digital assets and participate in the growing curation network. Users interested in early access can join the waitlist
