Animoca Brands is diving deeper into Web3 gaming through a new partnership with AMGI Studios, the creators of My Pet Hooligan, a chaotic third-person shooter packed with rebellious rabbits and cartoon-style PvP and PvE battles. Alongside the collaboration, Animoca has also started purchasing KARRAT tokens on the open market—the utility and governance token central to AMGI’s expanding digital ecosystem.

The partnership is more than just a publishing deal—it’s a strategic move to help build out Studio Chain, a custom Layer 2 blockchain being developed by AMGI Studios using Arbitrum Orbit and Caldera’s infrastructure. Currently in testnet, Studio Chain aims to support next-gen gaming, AI agents, and digital content with a scalable, low-cost framework for developers.

AMGI Studios is also the launch partner of the Karrat Foundation, which is responsible for growing the token’s role across games, digital experiences, and other creative applications.
Animoca’s involvement includes both strategic and technical backing. In addition to advising on tokenomics and market strategy, the company will also help maintain KARRAT token liquidity.
