Spotify Considering Token-Enabled Music Playlists | Testing

Share

Spotify, the music streaming service, is launching a new feature dubbed “token-enabled playlists,” which allows non-fungible token (NFT) users to link their wallets and listen to handpicked music.

The service is now available to token holders in the Fluf, Moonbirds, Kingship, and Overlord communities. Throughout the three-month trial phase, the selected playlists will be regularly updated and accessible only to community members via a unique URL.

On Wednesday, Overlord, the Web3 gaming and media world, announced that holders of its lizard-themed Creepz NFT project may link their Web3 wallet to Spotify to access the project’s community-curated “Invasion” playlist.

According to Overlord, the pilot is now only available for Android users in the United States, United Kingdom, Germany, Australia, and New Zealand.
In a Twitter response, Spotify appeared to corroborate the information.
