2022 will have Samsung Electronics bringing three TV models to the market that will enable NFT trading on screen, the company announced on its website on Monday.
In their mission for the year to “bring the vision of ‘Screens Everywhere, Screens for All’ closer to reality” Samsung is releasing its new models.
The television sets will feature an “intuitive, integrated platform for discovering, purchasing and trading digital artwork through MICRO LED, Neo QLED and The Frame.”
In addition to NFT compatibility, Samsung’s new models also focus on gaming by giving “players access to an extensive library of games through Samsung’s partnerships with industry leaders – NVIDIA GeForce Now, Stadia and Utomik”
NFTs (non-fungible tokens) are important in the new Metaverse “reality”, with global technology firms rapidly moving into the space. The metaverse is a virtual environment where people can interact with one another, digital objects and the physical world through an avatar.
Just recently, Shanghai, China’s most crowded city, announced to push the metaverse in its public services.
