Genesis League Goals Announces Sale of Validator Node Licenses

Share

Genesis League Goals, a digital trading card game developed in partnership with Major League Soccer Players Association (MLSPA), has announced the release of their validator node licenses.

Genesis League Goals is a digital trading card game powered by the HIVE blockchain, with each card being an NFT that can be owned by players, rented out or sold at any time. The game is created by the same company that created Splinterlands, which has been operating for over four years as one of the world’s most successful and long-standing blockchain games.

As the first title launched under the Genesis League Sports (GLS) brand, this game marks the second major launch by the same creators of Splinterlands. In 2022, their Splinterlands validator node license presale sold out in just 11 minutes. The GLS validator node licenses will enable purchasers to validate blocks on the Hive blockchain, receiving $GLX tokens, the governance token of Genesis League Sports and all Genesis League games in return.

GLS node license holders will receive a pool of 100,000,000 $GLX tokens over a period of 65 months.

Co-Founder and CEO of Splinterlands, Jesse Reich, stated that the sale of these licenses marks a significant step forward for GLG and the game’s governance, as it is built with the community’s growth in mind. The GLS validator node licenses are available for sale on the Genesis League Goals website from 11 am ET on March 15th.
