United Arab Emirates (UAE) airliner, Emirates will soon launch non-fungible tokens (NFT) and “exciting experiences in the metaverse” for its customers and workers.
In a recent statement, the airliner explains that the move aligns with developments in the UAE’s digital economy and the country’s virtual assets related initiatives. The Emirates are set to become a world-leading crypto hotspot.
Projects have already been in the works and Emirates expects to launch in the coming months. In the meantime it will continue collaborating with its partners in the Web3 space.
Chairman and CEO, Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, commented:
